As the festival organizers, we perceive your feedback from the field very sensitively. Many of you have personally asked us that you need more time to submit applications and produce competition videos. We have therefore decided to accommodate Slovak talents, schools, and ensembles. We are providing you with a more generous time allocation to fine-tune administration and artistic materials. A fixed schedule remains for the final phase, but until the new deadline, you now have plenty of space to manage everything peacefully and without unnecessary stress until 15.10.2026, together with foreign participants.

Introducing 5 genres of the festival
Viva Talent Festival (VTF26) is an international biennial of an artistic multi-genre festival and competition for children and youth aged 6 to 26. You can measure your strength and talent in five main genres:
· Music
· Singing
· Dance
· Theatre
· Visual arts
Applying via electronic application forms (5 pages)
For current online conditions, we fully utilize the electronic application system, which you can find on our website PK-FT. This comprehensive registration document consists of 5 separate pages (page) that need to be downloaded to a computer and subsequently filled out:
· Page 1: Serves as an overall summary of the numbers of participants, competitors, and teachers.
· Page 2: Contains the identification of videos and character traits of the program for scenic disciplines.
· Page 3: Is intended exclusively for young visual artists.
· Page 4: Serves for non-competitive applications, especially for foreign artistic collectives.
· Page 5: Represents a nominal list of participants (do not forget to include titles for teachers), which is crucial for the correct printing of diplomas and awards.
Emphasis on processing and correct naming of competition videos
Since our main goal is to maximally support the stage presentations of children and youth, we place immense emphasis on maintaining the high visual quality of your competition video recordings. We want the stage to be representative, so we ask for your attention to the following points:
1. Precise file naming: The competition video must be named exactly according to how you write it in the application. It is also necessary to follow the structure: Name of organization City state_Name of file_Age category children (average age)_Name of program number (For example: 1. SZUŠ Horná dolná_E. Malá_12y._Song of summer.mp4).
2. High resolution: Record videos exclusively in the horizontal width of a mobile phone in 4K resolution (3840x2160 pixels) in .mp4 format.
3. Clarity of the shot: Take care that there are no disturbing elements, inscriptions, or logos from other festivals in the background of the performers.
4. Shot without cuts: The recording must be made as one continuous recording block without cuts. Make sure that groups do not have their hands, feet, or part of their head cut off in the shot.
5. Costumes and environment: All performers should be dressed in costumes intended for the given program. If you are sending the same program number to other competitions, it is essential that you make the recording in a completely different environment.

Did you know that the submitted video is not just an ordinary competition preliminary round for the judges?
From the propositions, we select the most interesting benefits for our participants:
· Exclusive Campaign and cuts: If you deliver truly excellent video material to us in the required 4K format, we can make an engaging professional cut from your competition performances. We will subsequently use it for massive promotion of your talents within our festival networks and the upcoming media Campaign.
· Unique evaluation system: In the semifinals, participants are placed in zones - bands, and in the finals, they are ranked into diploma gold, silver, and bronze places overall for all their performed achievements. The best of the best compete for the award of the highest title – Laureate of the festival, i.e., the absolute winner.
· Awarding teachers: Our goal is not only to reward children. Diplomas and medals are also gained by the teachers themselves and ensemble leaders as recognition for their organizational, pedagogical, and professional knowledge.
· Exhibition for visual artists: Unlike other genres, visual artists do not film videos, but send 2 physical works in A4 and A3 size format. These will subsequently be realistically exhibited on the premises of CVČ Košice, thereby creating a beautiful open gallery.
Check your final lists
Immediately after the deadline of the extended term on 15.10.2026, we will register all applications and compile a complete summary of the registered numbers, subsequently we will send the entry fees. We ask each of you for your retrospective check, because exactly according to this approved list, we will be transferring the texts directly onto printed diplomas and awards.
