The "Configuration Talent" Festival Project Opens its Doors: The TTF26 Biennale to Bring World-Class Art to Prievidza

Slovakia will become the venue for an exceptional artistic event in April 2026. The 5th jubilee international biennale “TOP TALENT FESTIVAL” (TTF26), which is part of the prestigious PK – FT project (Project Configuration Festival Talent), will welcome young talents from Slovakia and abroad. The organiser ChFW, in cooperation with the World Organisation of Arts (WOARTSO), has prepared a format that breaks the boundaries between amateur and professional art.
More than just a competition: The "Configuration" System
The PK – FT project is not an ordinary competition with a predetermined number of medals. It operates on the unique methodical principle of Configuration, where a professional jury composed of Slovak and foreign experts, Meritorious Artists and specialists evaluates performances in a transparent scoring system (max. 80 points) not only in the final, but this also applies to the selective semi-final part. All participants are awarded a diploma, being placed into artistic zones based on their performances: Gold, Silver and Bronze Configuration. For emerging artists, a special Talent zone is prepared, which serves as a professional start to their career and recognition of their potential.
Genre diversity without borders
The festival stage in Prievidza will come to life on 18/4/2026 with a wide range of disciplines that the participant can choose from the nominations:
· Music and Singing: From classics through jazz, musical to popular music.
· Dance: From authentic folklore and ballet to modern street dance and REVUE.
· Theatre and Circus Arts: Drama, fashion show, but also breathtaking acrobatics, illusionists or juggling.
· Fine Arts: An exhibition of works by young authors, which will take place from 7/4 – 18/4/2026. Upon the conclusion of the biennale, the artworks become part of the announcer’s archive.
Bridge between the world and Slovakia: AV Line
The uniqueness of TTF26 is its digital dimension. For foreign participants who cannot travel in person, an Audiovisual (AV) line is prepared. Their 4K recordings are evaluated with the same seriousness as live performances and become an equal part of the competition block. For Slovak contestants, this line is a mandatory semi-final, which opens the doors to financial grants and advancement to the grand final, the Triumph Talent CUP (TTC).
Culmination in the spotlight
The entire festival will culminate on 18 April 2026 with the FINAL and a spectacular GALASHOW. It is not just an award ceremony for prizes and trophies in the CONFIGURATION zones, 📜 SPECIAL PRIZES: 🥇 PLACES, ⭐ PRESTIGE and 🏆 TOP. It is a director-composed programme of competition and festival performances, guest appearances and dramaturgy, where the Grand Prix Laureate - the absolute winner, contestants and winners will meet on one stage with the prestigious artist Samo Tomeček - the chairman of the jury.
